This RAB Lighting VLX100DG Vaporproof ceiling box mount with glass globe and guard consists of a die cast aluminum junction box and guard and a heat-resistant glass globe. It measures 8-3/4 x 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 inches/22.2 x 10.5 x 13.7 cm (H x W x D), and is suitable for use with incandescent light bulbs up to 150W (not included). (H is height, the vertical distance from bottom to top; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.). This light fixture comes with all stainless steel hardware for resistance to corrosion, and its high-temperature silicone gaskets provide protection from weather. It is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listed as suitable for use in wet locations and in dwellings, and it meets UL standard 1598 for non-hazardous locations where the lamp, socket, and wiring require protection from rain, corrosive fumes, non-combustible dusts, moisture, and non-explosive vapors and gases. This ceiling box mount with glass globe and guard is suitable for a wide range of indoor or outdoor lighting applications.
