This RAB Lighting VLX1/F13 Vaporproof ceiling box mount is made of die cast aluminum for resistance to corrosion and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use with the included 13W compact fluorescent lamp. It has high-temperature silicone gaskets that provide protection from weather, and it comes with all stainless steel hardware for resistance to corrosion. It is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listed as suitable for use in wet locations and in dwellings, and it meets UL standard 1598 for non-hazardous locations where the lamp, socket, and wiring require protection from rain, corrosive fumes, non-combustible dusts, moisture, and non-explosive vapors and gases. This ceiling box mount is suitable for a wide range of indoor or outdoor lighting applications.
